The Lancaster County Ag Council exists to coordinate, strategize, cultivate, and celebrate the strength of Lancaster County’s agricultural community. Formed to unify leadership across the agricultural sector, the Council brings together farmers, agri-businesses, community partners, and community leaders to champion agriculture’s economic, environmental, and cultural impact—locally and globally.
Established to promote and advocate for Lancaster County agriculture, the Council is committed to providing meaningful information, elevating the Lancaster agriculture brand, and ensuring that residents understand the essential role agriculture plays in our community. Our Board of Directors includes producers, agri-business representatives, and key partners, along with ex-officio members from the Lancaster County Commissioners and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. We meet monthly to discuss emerging issues, strengthen collaboration, and guide strategic priorities.
Together, we work to cultivate a thriving agricultural environment—one where farms and ag businesses of all kinds can grow, innovate, and succeed for generations to come.
We promote unity among the many agriculture interests.
We collaborate with partners to better accomplish goals.
